artist statement
Kat Alyst uses photography to explore themes of vulnerability, transformation, and identity. Through vivid colors, symbolic objects, and self-portraiture, her work examines mental health derived from personal experiences, as well, societies perceptions of the female identity. Each piece invites reflection and connection, creating a bridge between shared human experiences and the power of reinvention.
